Richard Sherwood, DDS

Dr. Richard Sherwood moved his family and practice to Danville in 1997 after ten years of practice in the Washington D.C. area. The move proved to be a win-win for his family and the Danville community. He is proud to have introduced contemporary dental implant procedures as well as office-based outpatient anesthesia techniques to the Danville community which have benefits thousands of patients over the years.

Dr. Richard Sherwood received his dental surgery training in the Midwest US. He attended the Ohio State University for dental school and then completed a four year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Sherwood and his wife Sandy have raised eight children and now two of their sons have joined the practice here in Danville. Together, we will be in a position to offer state of the art oral surgery services to the community for many years to come.
