SEDATION AND GENERAL ANESTHESIA

Our surgeons Dr. Richard Sherwood, Dr. Colin Sherwood, and Dr. Conner Sherwood are all trained in every aspect of anesthesia administration.  They have completed an additional 4 year hospital-based residency program after dental school that includes medical training in the evaluation, preparation, administration and recovery of anesthesia in both adults and children.  As a result of the comprehensive training and extensive experience thereafter we are well-prepared to appropriately administer all forms of anesthesia including local anesthesia (numbing), nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and intravenous sedation including general anesthesia. Furthermore, our staff is trained in anesthesia administration including DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam) and BLS/CPR certified.

We are proud to be the only dental providers in the Danville area to be able to offer IV sedation/general anesthesia for your dental surgery.  Whether you only need a little bit of medication to help you relax or need to be completely asleep we will work with you to meet your needs for the safest and most pleasant experience we can provide.
